how do you get the ip though

you have to spot a player doing something in the logs, then get the ip before they delete it from the log. this can be done by unchecking the window so it doesnt refresh when they delete it, then typing "pulse (their ip)". be warned though, if you dont delete your log when you log into a server, they can do this to you too. as for a miner, upload it to a server (it doesnt matter if it is an npc or another player), then install the one you uploaded. then come back later and type "mine"

after you make a miner you would connect to the player ip, upload miner, install miner, enable miner in slaves menu ... leave and come back in a few hours or longer and type mine. You can find player ip addresses in logs.
